Wa Tiens Team trains leaders


The newly opened office in Wa has trained its leaders.

It is said that the business of network marketing is one of numbers.

If this statement is true, it simply implies that the leader of leaders must learn to multiply and duplicate himself into others. [Note: The him/himself here applies to both gender]

This is only possible through constant and consistent training.

In leu of that, the Wa office began to train new people who have shown leadership traits today, July 3

To begin with
, the leaders' training in the Wa office is divided into two

Part one of the training session is dedicated to a module of capacity building programs aimed at equipping leaders on how to manage themselves and their teams. This module includes equipping the leader to build excellent communication skills, know about the products and the brand of the company and then team management skills.

Officially, the module has been programed to become a 24 week complete module of 126 credit hours of contact time. To give it the seriousness that it deserves, it will have an entry point and an exit point where those who complete the entire module of the 126 credit hours will be recognized.

The second part of the program is equally a 126 credit hours consisting of various topical issues related to health. Since the company produces food supplements that are taken for healthy purposes, it is important that the distributor understands the health concept of the company.

That aside, due to the complex nature of the Ghanaian market, there are instances where customers or clients request products based on their health status. 

This makes it imperative for the distributor to have a good understanding of basic health issues.

As such the second part of the leadership training on Mondays for the Wa team is structured to produce 126 contact hours of training in these basic health issues. Similarly, this module has an entry and exit point.

Some of the basic topics in this module includes:

Understanding Hypertension

Understanding Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes

The Chinese Health Concepts

Proper recommendation of Tiens Products

The Body Mass Index (BMI)

Exercising

The need for food supplements

Lecturers for these modules are from the Tiens Groups, Certified Lecturers and some clinical experts.

It is hoped that these modules will provide enablement to these leaders as they form the first crop of distributors for the Wa team.

With the initiative of Mr Felix Ayikorang, the leader of the Wa market, this team has already set targets and is poised to take the Northern part of Ghana by storm. After the first ever of its kind, Mr Sylvanus Gatorwu who lectured in the first lecture was very impressed by the enthusiasm of the class.

As the modus operandi is in Ghana, there is a lot of health talks, events, and outing. These outing normally involves the ability to understand the products and how to properly recommend them.

When it becomes the case that only a few people have these skills the leader suffers. Hence the putting together of these modules.

We have also structured it this way so that, when we start one module of leadership class, we can run it for sometime, properly assess attendance, performance and sales performance to determine who has really grasped the concept of the Tiens business.
